Brady Connell, Executive Producer, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, & Playa Venice Sunrise Rotarian

As Executive Producer and showrunner of ABC’s long-running television seriesExtreme Makeover: Home Edition, Playa Venice Sunrise Rotarian Brady Connell supervised the television production and construction of over 100 new homes for deserving families. 

Brady also helped launch some of television’s most successful series, including Survivor and The Amazing Race. His most recent show, NBC’s Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge, finished airing its 2nd season last month, and his other successful show, ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight, will air its 5th season this December.

Brady has been a Big Brother of Los Angeles since 1990. He will discuss his experiences with large and small makeovers, as well as the 2018 Culver City Habitat for Humanity build, which he is spearheading for Rotary District 5280.

Sarah Brown has been a leader in Flying Samaritans, a non-profit organization that provides free medical care for underserved communities in Mexico, during her four years at UCLA. Sarah works with a team of passionate students to manage and implement clinic resources, as well as with exceptional licensed healthcare providers who carry out patient examination and treatment once the team is on-site. Over the last two years, Flying Samaritans at UCLA has experienced unprecedented growth and will soon transition to a nearby site in Rancho Escondido at which the organization will be able to offer more medical services and improved patient privacy.
She is coming to speak to us before she heads to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in July.

Speaker: Sarah Brown, a senor at UCLA, heading to  Vanderbilt University School of Medicine this fall.  She is the president of Flying Samaritans, a non-profit organization by the undergraduate students to help set up clinics in the impoverished areas in developing countries.
